    up for bids is a super nice vintage Monarch Phil Caverretta  411603 oil dressed cowhide leather baseball first base mitt. one of the nicest vintage glove I have ever come across. bought this at an local estate sale where the former owner was a big high end collector of sports items.  just about ever-thing was in mint or close to it. this mitt is very close to mint!!!!!  the oil dressed cowhide leather is in flawless shape. very soft and supple. I have conditioned the leather with Nokona glove conditioner. the leather is amazing!!! not sure of the date on the mitt. probably around the 40's to 50's as this is when he played. collectors if you are looking for a center piece for your collection you have found it. this will be a no reserve price auction sold to the highest bidder. good luck!!!!Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
