    Description

Here is a VERY RARE 1960's or 1970's era Bill Hands Rawlings model GJ-119H baseball glove for a RH thrower. Hands was a right handed thrower.
The glove is an kids model and I can almost get my adult hand in it. It measures 9" long through the pocket. I can't find the glove in any of my glove catalog info but it is pretty rare.
Stamped on the front is Deep Well Pocket, Bill Hands Autograph, "The Finest in the Field!", Hinged Pad, GJ 119H.
The only thing written on the back of the glove is 100% Nylon Sewn. There is a decent Rawlings cloth patch on the back that also has Taiwan on it.
The only writing on the glove is on the interior leather where there is some very faint writing towards the bottom. The glove shows wear from being used, but the glove didn't get abused. The leather is still soft and the glove could be played with. Soft vinyl  covering piping is in decent condition. The leather lacing appears original except for the fingers, which I relaced. Soft and flexible interior leather is made of suede and has no tears
or rips in it. The cloth Rawlings patch shows some wear.
Bill Hands was a right handed starting pitcher who pitched in the MLB for 11 years from 1965-1975. He is best known for pitching for the Chicago Cubs from 1966-1972 for whom he won 16, 20 and 18 games from 1968-1970. He was also a pitcher for the San Francisco Giants, Minnesota Twins and the Texas Rangers.
I have other gloves and mitts on eBay ending now and I like to combine shipping whenever possible. If you win more than one glove you'll have to pay the grand total for shipping. But I'll refund you the difference back on the price of combined shipping. Or I'll send out an invoice if possible.
