    Description

Llama & Star Small-Framed Pistol Grip Screws - Slotted Stainless-Steel - Hard-to-find screws for your Llama & Star pistol
For sale here is a set of four (4) slotted stainless steel grip screws for the Llama & Star small-framed pistols; these are usually found in .22, .32 and .380 caliber.  These may or may not fit the larger-framed pistols, as we have not tested them on the larger guns (i.e. 9mm and .45acp).  These do NOT fit the Llama Model 1, which is a larger frame, they DO fit the IIIA (thank you Mike!).  They are sold ONLY for the Llama small-framed 1911-style pistols, but we've found they also fit the Star SI, BKM & BM pistols (and perhaps others, though we have not tried them).  Both Llama and Star are Spanish-made pistols, which may explain the common grip screw size.  We have tested these in the Star BM and BKM for fit and function, which is fine.  These are the same length and thread size as the proper Star screws - NOTE: Star often used odd screws in their guns, or whatever they could find.  If your gun has been re-threaded or altered these may no longer fit it as many were changed to fit standard screws when the correct ones couldn't be obtained.
NOTE: At 6mm, these are approximately 1mm LONGER than the OEM screws Llama originally installed, to allow their use with wood grips, as some have found the screws they have are too short to correctly mount wood grips, or they're missing one or more grip screws.  These may be too long for those guns using plastic grips (though we have had no problems with OEM and aftermarket Llama plastic grips), so if you don't have wood grips you may need to trim these to avoid having them stick out in the magazine, binding the mag.  These can be trimmed with a Dremel tool (cutting wheel or grinder) if you wish to use them for plastic grips - that is the responsibility of the user.
These are quality slotted stainless-steel screws and are 6mm in length, measured from under the screw head.  We sell these for use with our Llama grips.
These are longer than the screws Llama installs on the plastic-gripped versions of their pistols, and may be needed if you're mounting wood grips on your gun.
You are purchasing ONE set of four screws.  Currently we only have these in stainless-steel.
The heads don't protrude outside the grip's surface when tightened, allowing them to be used with thinner grips as well, and stainless steel alloy provides resistance to corrosion and lubricity for the threads.  These enhance the appearance of your pistol as well.
If you have a different model pistol and don't know if these will fit, ASK FIRST, as these may not work in models other than those listed above and in the listing title, and they are not returnable.
Check my other listings for other hex screws for the Beretta, Ruger, Browning and other fine firearm parts and accessories.  I also have other Beretta screw/washer kits for with smaller head diameters, for those grips whose mounting holes are smaller or for those who wish to save a bit of money while still enhancing the appearance and function of their firearm.

    Firearms safety is Job One!
Before modifying your firearm, be sure you have completely removed the magazine, unloaded the weapon and cleared it.  You cannot be too safe when handling firearms!  If you do not feel comfortable performing the work required to replace your grip screws, seek qualified help.  You are responsible for damage to your firearm, tools, etc.  Do not overtighten any grip screws, as you may damage the threads on the frame of the weapon or interfere with the proper operation of the gun.  Never use the screws to pull the grips onto the gun, as you may damage the grips.  If you're not sure what to do or how to do it, ask!  There are plenty of folks willing to help.
Thank you for checking out my listings.  Please don't bid if you don't intend to pay for this item.  Be sure to visit my other auctions and Ebay store for more firearm accessories, electronics, tools and retail/store equipment such as shelves and displays!
