GREEN MAN BREWING draft beer tap handle. Ashville, North Carolina. Established in 1997. The IPA is their Flagship beer. 6.2%ABV. Copper in color. Hoppy and earthy with a floral note. The Greenman is a mythological creature that has been brewing for over 20 years now. Hiding amongst the vines and leaves of the hop plant. Loving the English ales and putting a twist on other craft beers. This tap is an early version. There have been 3 modifications of this brands handle since. It comes new in original box. Excellent condition as seen. Nicely sculpted and hand painted. Who is the Greenman? Usually represented by a mans head or body with numerous leaves, vines and branches surrounding it. Common decorative sculptures have been know to be created separately in multiple cultures over time throughout the globe. I have seen him hanging on trees. Other Green man candidates: The Hulk, Kermit the Frog, The Grinch and Oscar the Grouch and my weed dealer in high school too. Really cool and collectible. 9 inches tall. Tap has been turned and rotated so that all sides are shown.
