Dukane Compound Diffraction Projector 5A90 16 ohms by Electro Voice

This sale is for the Dukane / EV driver, some lamp cord (already plumbed), and horn only.
No test equipment, or other junk pictured, is part of this listing.
Made by Electro-Voice for Dukane, this speaker was rescued from Michigan's Upper Peninsula.  It had been left on its pole at the closed, Camp Ichi Wichi Titi.  It was removed before the wood rot caused the pole to eventually fall over.  It has been in the warehouse ever since.
Condition:
Having spent much of its life outside, a basic cleaning was required. All mud wasp nests, bird nests, and almost all of the bird poo has been removed. Lots of dust has been removed, but we are sure there is more hiding in there somewhere.  There is a bit of oxidation on the EV horn and housing, as well as the metal tube it mounts on.  We will leave the detailed cleaning to the next owner as we do not want to risk melting the fiberglass or the metal.
Testing:
We regret that our testing was limited due to the current global pandemic.  We had a helicopter reserved, but we were unable to get permission to fly it in Vietnamese airspace.  The best we were able to do was to play Wagner’s Die Walk

re in its entirety through this speaker with a surf board in the corner of the test lab.  This was no small feat for our local Play It Again Sports to source as we are located hundreds of miles from the coast, we are indebted to them as their level of dedication is similar to ours.  (We will be watching them very closely going forward...)  The speaker was then tested on an HP Oscillator, through the full audio range, and there were no mechanical issues.
Please note that we unscrewed the driver to get in and clean it and the fiberglass horn.
It could use a new gasket.
Tightening it now requires a level of rotation that results in the metal horn not lining up to be perfectly square in relation to the fiberglass horn.  A thicker / newer gasket will address this issue.
Specifications:
We were unable to locate published specifications for this unit, we have searched and not found any.
The model of driver is not stamped on the housing either.
This means that sensitivity, frequency response, and power handling are guesswork.
Comparable units handle 30 watts of power.
These PA speakers were designed with voice in mind, not music.
