Listing is for one box. The ARCS WIDE is a 2-way passive constantcurvature WST enclosure. Within the ARCS WIDE and FOCUS family, it is designedto generate a wide coverage with few arrayed elements. The ARCS WIDEloudspeaker enclosure is based on a 2-way passive design with a nominalimpedance of 8 ohms. It features one 12" LF speaker in a bass-reflex tunedenclosure and one 3" diaphragm compression driver coupled to a DOSCwaveguide. The cabinet is made of first grade Baltic birch plywood for optimumacoustical and mechanical integrity. A pole-mount socket receptacle isintegrated into the cabinet and allows mounting the enclosure on top of anSB18m subwoofer. The ARCS WIDE operates over a nominal frequency range of 55 Hzto 20 kHz. This response can be extended down to 32 Hz with the SB18msubwoofer. The DOSC HF waveguide generates a 30 ° x 90 ° symmetric directivitypattern. Coupling bars allow arraying ARCS WIDE enclosures as a line withconstant curvature, either vertically or horizontally. The DOSC waveguide inthe HF region allows the system to be arrayed without breaking theinter-element acoustic coupling. The WST criteria are then fulfilled, so thatsuch an array can be qualified as a true line source. Any WST line sourceprovides a smooth tonal response and a coverage that is free of secondary lobesover the entire frequency range. The ARCS WIDE is driven and amplified by theLA4X, LA8 or LA12X controller. These ensure system linearization, protection, andoptimization for the loudspeaker system. There are 2 available.
